Locked up, unprotected, and with the AB gunning for them, the Sons know that the prison yard will prove to be a very dangerous place. Clay and Jax try to put their anger aside momentarily to strike a deal with Laroy’s cousin Russell Divine, leader of the Black Guerilla Family, for protection while they are locked up. Russell agrees to protect them as long as the Sons can do something for the Family – first, a snitch in protective custody, Dion, needs to be taken out and second a Tranny, Vincent, on the outside needs to be set up and brought to jail so they can deal with her. Clay puts Opie, the only one who didn’t get locked up, on Vincent while Jax uses Juice as bate and arranges a ‘date’ for him and Dion.
Meanwhile Tara and Gemma meet with Rosen to figure out how to get the guys out. Rosen tells them that bail is set at $3 million. Gemma knows there is only one person in Charming who can help. She goes to Oswald, but he tells her that he can’t help, not this time.
Stahl and ATF are back in Charming. Hale gives her a chilly welcome. She informs him that she has no intention of causing any more damage in his town. She is there to go after the IRA and she plans on using the fact that the SOA is in jail as leverage.
Juice meets with Dion. The plan works and the Family rushes in before Juice is put into a compromising position. As Juice approaches Clay and company with the good news he’s attacked and stabbed twice in the back. Jax rushes to his aid and the guards get him to safety. Clay gets word that Juice is going to be alright, it’s up to Opie now to make sure the Tranny (Vincent) set-up goes right to get SOA protection.
Opie enlists Trammel to help with the set up. He plants drugs in Vincent’s car then Trammel pulls Vincent over. Vincent shoots Trammel and takes off. Opie rushes to his aid. SOA gets word about Trammel and they are on their own in jail. Jax is livid. Clay gets called away by one of the Guards and Bobby tells Jax he has to be the one to forgive and forget with Clay for the sake of the club.
Clay meets with Stahl. She tries to get Clay to give up the Irish, but he shuts her down.
He returns to his cell where Jax approaches him ready to make amends. Clay responds to the gesture with a punch in the face. Jax and Clay get into a brutal, no holds barred fight. The guards rush in and break up the fight. They bring Jax into the interrogation room to meet with Stahl. She plays the same angle as she did with Clay, but this time Jax calls her bluff. He knows she has nothing. A little impressed by the heir apparent, Stahl lets Jax know that their bail was made and they are free to go. Jax leaves her with a bone chilling reminder that Kohn (Jay Karnes) was a Fed too and nobody’s heard from him.
Gemma and Tara anxiously wait for their men to return home. When SOA returns to the clubhouse it is apparent that the club has been divided. A clear line has been drawn with Jax on one side and Clay on the other.

When will the #207-Gilead episode be available for viewing online?
By Ms. Beck on October 14th, 2009 at 2:43 pmI am so addicted to this show and can’t wait until Tuesdays. Love Jax and Tara and how their relationship is progressing. Gemma is fantastic – love how she teaching Tara how to be an “old lady”. Thought the traget practice on Ima car was hilarious. Clay needs to get a grip – he didn’t even care that he almost shot a kid. GREAT SHOW!
By Mel on October 16th, 2009 at 9:45 amAnother great episode!!! Poor Juice!! I was in tears when he was stabbed! Can’t wait to see what happens next week

By Mrs Kautz on October 21st, 2009 at 10:20 amWill someone just shoot that fed whore already!! Would be a great job for Zobel or Weston!
By Bro-ette on October 21st, 2009 at 10:37 amHell of a show. the only one I watch. I really liked the ending of last nights show. The Club is not as divided as you think. The leadership maybe, but the club is still solid behind it’s leadership whether they agree with everything or not. I’ve never seen so many secrets among one charter in my life though. It can’t keep rolling this way.

By Two Quarts on October 21st, 2009 at 12:18 pmI LOVE this show!! It’s not like the shows I typically watch but my husband loves it and turned me onto it. Now every Tues @ 10 we’re glued to the TV. Loved the target practice on the car!!! I wasn’t crazy about Tara last season but she’s stepped up to the plate this season, great character!!
By Donna on October 21st, 2009 at 1:23 pmWhat an episode. I wish the writers would not dumb down Clay as much as they have. He was smart enough ( yes- I know it is a show ) for “years” and all of a sudden he is too dense to see the traps laid out?
By Gail on October 22nd, 2009 at 11:34 amI love this show I wish it was 2 hours long….
By Bella 69 on October 22nd, 2009 at 4:45 pmI would like to see Jax and Clay make up….And I think Opie needs to be friends with Jax again they had a cool friendship in season 1

By uxbridge63 on October 22nd, 2009 at 4:54 pmHow much you wanna bet that fed chick spills the beans about Clay getting Donna killed. If that comes out all hells breaking loose.
By Johnny Boy on October 22nd, 2009 at 6:29 pmLove the show. the best show on period! would like to see Jax and Clay make up though. Gemma needs to tell Clay about the rape by the A.B’s so the club wil just take care of business instead of screwing around.
By Scooter on October 22nd, 2009 at 7:32 pmKeep up the great work. we all love it and can’t wait for the next episode.
Hands down the best show on TV right now. This is the only show that leaves me counting down the days until the next one! Jax and Tara are adorable! And Gemma is a powerhouse! She’s awesome! Can’t wait until next Tuesday!
By Floridagirl on October 23rd, 2009 at 5:37 amI watched with a great deal of interest this past Tuesday’s episode when the Sons landed in jail.
I have a real problem with how the story arc progressed. Here’s my problem…you have an outlaw biker gang, avowed 1%ers, stacked 6 deep in hick county jail. They walk out on the exercise yard and are looking to buy protection from the blacks because the ABs say they’re “fair game”. An outlaw biker gang “fair game” for who? I say it made them look soft and weak. Had they walked out on the exercise yard, picked out the very baddest cat on the yard and stomped him bloody, making the statement that this is now THEIR YARD, I would’ve bought it. While I realize the jail makes for strange bedfellows (pardon the pun), I find it hard to believe that real outlaws, especially when they have decent numbers, would buy protection.
To make matters worse, they portrayed 2 of their members as punks. What self respecting outlaw allows himself or a brother to be portrayed as a sissy? What outlaw even messes with punks in the chain gang? None, I know. What outlaw even rides with “baby boys” or claims them as “theirs”. None, I know.
The Sons should be having people buy protection in the county from them, not for them. I say, again, it made them look soft. If Jax and Clay had laid a beating on someone on the yard like they laid on each other, buying protection from the blacks wouldn’t be an issue.
By greycole on October 24th, 2009 at 11:02 amHated by many, loved by few, RESPECTED BY ALL.
this is the best show ever. my wife and i watch each episode atleast 3 times. we cant get enough.hope this show lasts a long time. great job guys.to the person who thinks this season is boring what are you watching!!
By motley joe on October 25th, 2009 at 7:38 amI don’t think Kurt is dumbing down Clay…My feeling is Clay is facing something he has never had to face before. Dealing with the Mayans – you know who they are and what to expect. Deals can even be made between the clubs…Zobelle is a whole new animal…all he wants is to destroy the MC…give no quarter. And he is one calculating son of a bitch! He’s playing Clay like a f***ing fiddle and Clay doesn’t know how to deal with it.
By Hawkeye on October 27th, 2009 at 12:19 pmGilead is the very first episode I actually liked Tara. When she aimed at porn-girl when she and Gemma were shooting at CaraCara, I saw the gal Jax must have originally fallen in love with. Maybe Kohn had her in such a tailspin the chick she was last season wasn’t who she really is…time will tell.
I agree with Hawkeye, that Clay isn’t being dumbed-down; he’s dealing with issues he’s never before faced. Zobelle has thrown him for a loop…no doubt. Jax is up to dealing with Zobelle and his AB muscle – brains before bullets! Hopefully, Bobby will be able to get through to Clay and help him see past his issues with Jax to what is best for the club.
Opie is not making much sense to me this season. Turning his back on his kids, ripping up at Jax daily, supporting Clay no thought, no question. This isn’t the Opie Winston that told Donna either deal with who he really was – a Son – or talk a walk. Not quite sure what’s in his brain allowing porn-girl to take his kids, and not even giving Gemma and Tara a heads-up…I really hope that Opie wakes up and sees what he’s doing, before he does irreparable damage to his kids, his life, and the Club.
Hale is awesome. I can’t wait to see the relationship that develops between him and the Club, and him and Jax. It is wonderful to see him maturing – realizing that everything he loves about Charming is also what the Sons are working to keep alive. The way that Jax is working with him is great; reminds me of what it must have been like for Unser and Teller (John, that is), back in the day.
Also loving Unser this season, seeing the “big-soft-hearted” side of him. As always, Gemma ROCKS! Tig is way cool – crazy-scary, but cool. Lovin’ Bobby Elvis’ showing his heart, too. Juice is totally cute, hopefully, we’ll get to learn more about his back-story, along with Eddie (or Half-sac)…and Chibbs – just love, love, love that Scotsman! Mmmmm!
Can’t wait for tonight’s episode, Potlatch (looked it up, means party or ceremony where everyone tries to best everyone else…love the titles Kurt is coming up with…Albification (a whitening).
Love the show! SOA ROCKS!
Hope it runs for many, many years!
Meli
By Meli on October 27th, 2009 at 3:49 pmI agree with greycole – no way a 1% club is going to have to buy protection in the bumfuuk county lockup. Up till now, SOA has been shown as one badass club, but they appeared as pussies buying protection. That county lockup yard should have parted like the red sea when Clay and the club walked out on the yard. should have been portrayed more like 10th graders strolling out onto the 3rd grader’s playground. C’mon Kurt, giv’em their nuts back!!
