Sons of Anarchy
Season 2, Episode 204
Recap: “Eureka”
The Club gears up for their first run under the new deal with the Irish, transporting handguns through Northern Cali. They will make the delivery under the guise of a charity run for a Children’s Blood Drive in Eureka. As the Club prepares we find Gemma injecting cortisone shots into Clay’s ailing hands. Meanwhile, Tara realizes, happily, that she’s Jax’s ‘Old Lady’.
Sam Crow kicks off the run, Harley’s thunder through Charming.
As the fleet exits Charming, the pack grows from twenty to forty plus as other Sons of Anarchy charters join the ride. SAMCRO branches off to pick up the delivery from the Irish. Each brother takes a bedroll from IRA soldiers Cameron and Edmond Hayes – each bedroll filled with guns. The MC Pony Express is in motion.
Back at Teller-Morrow Gemma receives a disturbing package, a bag from “Sherman’s” containing the mask her assailants wore when they raped her. Gemma, determined to take her life back heads out to Sherman’s to find something, anything. She finds Sherman’s out of business – replaced by Ethan Zobelle’s Impeccable Smokes. He greets her, asks if there is anything he can help her with. Shocked, Gemma retreats – and bumps into AJ Weston. His “Pardon me, Ma’am” confirms what she already suspects – Weston was one of her rapists. Gemma is shaken but follows Weston when he leaves the smoke shop, driven by vengeance.
The Sons make their way further north with the shipment in hand – smooth sailing until Bobby’s bike malfunctions causing Tig to lay down his Dyna. Awaiting ER treatment for a leg gash, Tig is snatched up by bounty hunters, tipped off by hospital staff. Tension between Jax and Clay boils over when Jax insists they go get Tig now, before making the gun drop. Clay insists they make the drop first. A quick thinking Piney takes Jax and a small crew to get Tig before the argument escalates. Piney reverses the T-M truck through the wall of the hotel where the bounty hunters are holed up. Tig is rescued.
Gemma follows Weston, gun in purse. An opportunity presents itself, a chance to kill her rapist, but Weston takes a call from his son… and Gemma loses the will to kill. She falls defeated, more lost now then ever.
The gun drop is made and the MC catches up to the post run party. Clay confronts Jax about undermining him, leaves Jax with an unsettling threat – if Jax brings up Donna’s murder again, Clay will kill him.

The tension, between Clay & Jax is starting to take away from an outstanding show! In a real Mc { I know its Tv} this would not happen and it’s starting to take away from the story line a bunch of us watched last night, and Jax , Clay both need to get it going? Also when are going to see more SOA chapters?
By os on September 23rd, 2009 at 10:55 amLoved the show on Tuesday, to bad they are only an hour. I could watch them forever. I wish they were more times during the week!
As for Gemma Clay is an ass. He doesnt get some at home for 3 weeks and tells her basically lets go to dinner (have sex) or Ill get it else where. For someone who loves her so much and cant live without her he sure seems to stray easily.
I cant wait for next week when all teh guys are out of town and Gemma either kills or gets violent with the Nazi bastards that raped her.
I guess once hale finds out that he just “protected” someone who raped gemma he will have the same guilt he did when they set up Opie and he didnt say anthing.
I so thought Tig heard what Unser was saying and feel he already kind of suspects as he looked at her funny when she backed away from Clay when he grabbed her and when she walked in the club after bobby got shot. He either has seen the behavior before or knows about it. Hes creepy but you tend to like him, not sure why.
Great show couldnt make it to Tuesday with out it!
By Jessica040709 on September 24th, 2009 at 12:00 pmOk, lets talk about Hale for a minute.
Hale was siding with the DEA guy that was stalking Tara (in more ways than one).
Hale helped set up Opie.
Hale is now protecting the white supremist guys.
Looks like Hale is a fair wheather friend to the club.
I wonder how long he is going to last.
By gracie on September 24th, 2009 at 1:33 pmHale, is dumb as a box of rocks! He thinks he has the SOA where he is in control, he is playing “TRIPLE RAT”! The typical crooked pork, pork is as pork goes!
By os on September 25th, 2009 at 8:03 amkaren and i are both bikers and gun carriers “legally” we have became s.o.a. junkies. i guess its maybe we can relate to what we would like life to be like, im talking bike club parties, girls, guns and good stuff not the murdering shootout stuff, but you know!!
By preston and karen on September 26th, 2009 at 9:10 amour point is we love the show.my 65 yr. old mother who rides is also a fan. we say its about time something good comes on tv.
keep up the good work and i hope this show lasts for years
I too am a huge fan of SOA. Love the storylines. Can’t wait for Tuesdays to arrive. Lets keep the relationship with Jax and Tara going. Gemma is awesome…strong strong woman.
By Kathy on September 26th, 2009 at 3:36 pmOk I sooooo love Jax!! I can’t wait for Tuesdays to come around beause this is my show! SOA so has me wanting to get a bike and join a club but I’m only 16 hehe. I don’t think Gemma was smart not to tell Clay even though he is an ass. I mean yea it would have given them Nazi bastards what they wanted but in the end I know Clay and Jax would have made them regret it. I cannot stand Hale whatsoever he is an asshole!
By Andrea on September 27th, 2009 at 12:17 pmas a club guy my self i will have to say the parties on TV are better in real life only a couple of the guys get lucky not the whole chapter Ive awakened in the clubhouse before after a night of parting to go run the road to get to another one this is the only thing on TV worth watching for me Ive never been the kind of person that watches a regular TV show but i make sure i am home for this or look for it on the web witch sucks for me because Wednesdays are my day of and i hate that they moved it to Tuesdays but other than that its great i can relate to some of the guys and some of the characters remind me of my club brothers here in south Florida wogmc
By iceman on September 28th, 2009 at 1:12 amI can’t post comment to Sons of Anarchy, because…
By Mikhail on September 28th, 2009 at 6:28 amSee for yourself how much garbage there
I am frustrated with Gemma for keeping her secret.
I just wanna tell clay and get it out there because their bickering is driving me nuts.
Also where the hell did Jax ex wife go? she just disappeared. Her rehab would be done by now and she would be fighting for him again.
Tara is cool but i am ready for her to be all in or all out. Jax needs some one strong like his mom to help him turn the club around!
By brittany on September 28th, 2009 at 9:11 amDefinetly a good show, absolutely luuuuuv Jax, he is so cute and bad ass at the same time. The things “good” dreams are made of. Please more shower scenes of him. I like the character development so far, I think everyone is waiting for Clay and Jax to find out the truth about whaat happened to Gemma and go apesh*t. Can’t wait to see what happens tommorow. Something to look forward to.
By Amy on September 28th, 2009 at 11:00 amBrittany,
By Shadow on September 28th, 2009 at 12:54 pmWendy is in rehab on the show but I read that she’s started on Desparate Housewives this season. Dunno when to expect Drea DeMateo back… but I think it would work with the plot lines.
Enjoy
Just for laughs, did anyone else notice when Hale came out of barber shop(when he confronted Zobelle)the name of the shop was ‘Floyd’s Barber shop’, as in Mayberry?
By Brewhalady on September 29th, 2009 at 9:44 amIt’s an interesting part of the story that Hale is conflicted.
He wasn’t siding with the DEA guy who was stalking Tara. Not sure how you come up with that.
He didn’t “help” set up Opie. He made it clear he didn’t like it from the start. He was conflicted about telling anyone b/c he didn’t want to betray his badge. In the end he did end up telling Unser. It was just too late.
He did decide to ignore the cook shop b/c of Zobelle’s speech outside the cigar shop. He no doubt will feel guilty about that as well.
Also, once he finds out what they did to Gemma, he will no longer support them. Zobelle has him convinced that he can only regain control of the town from SOA by doing things his way.
As time goes by, I think Hale and Jax will continue to work together on certain things.
By Free on September 29th, 2009 at 11:54 amtuesday is here again , i love this show i am addicted.
By loveride05 on September 29th, 2009 at 12:04 pmi live in the town where they film and when they are here its a great feeling feels real like a brotherhood or family . the guy’s are so hot and cool to have in town.jax & opie my fav. lots of love<3
rip-daddy-o
I am totally obsessed with this show…Tuesdays are the best I look forward to it all week…I hope that Gemma and Tara team up with Unser and take care of “The League” tonight when the boys are away…this is the best show on TV by far…I didn’t realize how many people are into it and I hope it stays on forever!!!
By Megan on September 29th, 2009 at 12:34 pmI gotta tell ya I love the show. However, when you decide to throw in the politics of health care and a man getting sent away from the emergency room with a gapping hole in his leg I gotta call B.S. It’s unfortunate but FX will no longer be playing on any television in my jouse or those of my family. I’ll miss the entertainment but I won’t miss the socialist agenda.
By cbw on September 29th, 2009 at 7:54 pmCan’t believe that Clay threaten Jax. Omg. Jax is a hottie on this show but did anyone ever see him on Queer as Folk? Couldn’t even believe it was the same guy. Gemma stay strong and shoot that guy if you want.
By LoveSOA on September 29th, 2009 at 8:09 pmI thought it was a great episode.
By Veronica on September 29th, 2009 at 8:22 pmIt was a great episode. I am sorry that you won’t be watching the show again since the brought up the healthcare thing. I think that is really crazy to stop watching a show because of the opinions that are thrown in. Great job cast and crew! Once again Kurt you have blown me away, can’t wait for next week’s episode.
By pacspoon on September 29th, 2009 at 8:51 pmGreat show but Jax needs to get a little dirty as in appearance. Way to clean for a biker. Love the way he takes care of buisness, but kinda looks a little bit like a gang banger in his baggie jeans, shirts and way to white tennis shoes. Also why do many almost all the biker have that goofy little winshield like accesory on the front of teh bike, kinda makes them all look like a jr. prince wanna be. Like the violence pretty cool. Keep up the good work. He director contact me the little things would go along way.
By mm on September 29th, 2009 at 10:04 pmHey I agree w/Pacspoon. What kinda of bad-ass biker worry about a HMO or even have insurance. These guys are supposed to be gun running, murdering outlaw bikers. Do u think any of the big 4 would worry about that. If it was real they would have kick the crap out of everyone in the hospital, stolen some meds and completed the operation on their own. Leave the politics for the news shows. We need a escape for a hour.
By mm on September 29th, 2009 at 10:07 pmOpie, kick some ass bro!
By mm on September 29th, 2009 at 10:08 pmShows rolling along pretty good. The air between Clay & Jax is so thick you can mix it with a spoon, or paddle. Looking forward to the climax of that.Maybe it’ll be Op thats settles the score, who knows. Well guess KS and writers do. Good stuff either way
Gemma will come around and then there is going to be some new souls in hells half acher, she just needs some time to collect her self. Then,,,let da bodies hit da floor! Even better if Unser helps her out, kind of go out in a blaze of glory. Old tigers are the fiercest at the end!
Tig taunting the bounty hunters, classic, did spot the political HMO ref.Well isn’t the first time Hollyweird has wove in some views, not gonna stop watching because of that. In America, it’s allowed! Ya’ll know about that whole freedom of speech thing we have going here, right? But agree with MM, would like the escape, for a least an hour! Just a thought Kurt,,,,,,
Get a kick out of the repeats on the bikes and Jax clean duds, like being scummy and cruddy is a pre-condition to be a biker. Born into Bikerdom and have always kept my arce clean, even when on the road, there are plenty of places a tramp can catch a scrub, gas stations, rest stops, streams & rivers so on and so forth, and lets not forget some honeys pad! Also plenty of bikes with fairings out there, even the cute li’ll sissy type!
Bobbys Fat Boy,damn thats funny and so true to life. I damn sure know a few of thoes. Sack is getting off light from some of the chit have seen prospects go through in the real world.
So the Irish are coming? Should be interesting, in all last 3 ep’s hit the mark, looking forward to the rest with all the white sneeks, clean cut, baggy pants wearing, six pack sporting, cool special effects, way to many bad shots, sissy fairing riding, revenge seeking, white separatist stomping, smoking hot mama’s,,, bikerdom to come from SOA! Charrrrrge!
And as always folks, all BS aside, Ride safe, watch out for one another and don’t take any crap from anyone!
By Base on September 29th, 2009 at 11:03 pmI think this was a little slow of an episode other then the recapture of there brother tigg…The ending set up some fire works for weeks to come I can’t beleive that I have to wait a week f*ck! When Clay threatens Jax if he brings up donna again I was like here we go….Clay needs to die ….for what he did….Opie is getting on my nerves but its because he doesnt know clay killed his wife.
By Lee on September 29th, 2009 at 11:30 pmI can’t believe how much I enjoy this show. I would like to know a couple of things:
By sam on September 30th, 2009 at 12:01 am1. When doing the background for SOA, did the writers collect from a wide conglomeration of outlaw MC’s out there? It seems like they get their name from the Sons of Silence, their colors from the Mongols, and their general bearing from the highwaymen.
2. I commend the writers on doing their homework on the next generation of outlaw MC member. Jax is the new blood of biker and the club is exactly what the future holds. people have to realize the logistics and intricacy that has to go into a gun running business in the present day era. A bunch of old guys with sixth grade educations aren’t going to get it done.
3. The wings above Clay’s left breast pocket. Are those modified jump wings or some other kind of MC related bling? I know that clay was supposed to have served in Vietnam and he has a service Tat, but as a Vet myself I was kinda wondering what branch and where does piney fit in to the old days?
WHAT OR WHO IS “SAMCRO” ?
By madman on September 30th, 2009 at 12:07 amMadman - SAMCRO is the club. Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club Redwood Original
Okay, I’ve got a question. I’ve been watching since the beginning, re-watching, etc. What is the “Men of Mayhem” patch on Jax, Opie, and Chibbs’ cuts? This has been driving me batty (yeah, yeah, how can one tell…) since the beginning.
Opie is really scaring me. He’s never stood against Jax, that I’m aware of. He almost seems angry with Jax for some reason. He’s too smart not to realize that Clay hit his woman - accident or not. It’s as if he’s driving the issue between Jax and Clay into the forefront…pouring gas on a lit flame, so to speak. He’s never been close to Clay (it took him months after getting out of Chino to even have a one-on-one chat with Clay), but he and Jax have stood by it all together.
Hale has put himself in a world of hurt. He’s going to be beating himself up for the rest of his life for what he allowed to happen - both Donna and the cookhouse. It would be very interesting to dig into Hale’s background and find out how he became what he is - especially considering his greedy Dad and brother. He’s almost clueless, but then not. Interesting character in a show filled with them.
Did anyone catch the tension when Cam Hayes and his kid let slip that some of the big guns (no pun intended) of the IRA were coming to US soil? Curiouser and curiouser. Chibbs is my FAVORITE! I am interested in seeing what happens between him and Irish when they show up - as he seemed to be the most angry.
Totally agree with Base about Unser - he will go out in a blaze of glory saving Gemma…or avenging her. He’s got a good heart - greedy, hypocrite tendencies aside.
Worried for Big Otto…caught the probability of an issue when Jax went to visit him. The previews for next week look horrible - anything that could make Otto cry like that’s gotta be horrific.
Love the show! SOA Rocks!
Meli
By Meli on September 30th, 2009 at 12:42 amfantastic! eps get better each week.
By Primo Kimo on September 30th, 2009 at 2:22 amWish I knew where the town main street is shot at…
Noticed they were in the City of Galt, that Surplus store.
Jax was drinking a bottle of Jake Daniels
Bobby is drinkin a bottle of generic tequila. prop department coulda whipped up a fake name for it. Like Dos Tornos. (Two Wheels Tequila)
Noticed when they were hanging at the gas station the company logo was “Shield Gas” a little nod to Sutter’s previous work?
What is the “Men of Mayhem”. If i were to take a shot, it’s maybe a patch ya get if you perform a certain level or frequency of whatever it is they do…. They also have ‘reaper crew’ here and there.
By Primo Kimo on September 30th, 2009 at 2:54 amOne thing I don’t get is the constant chiding they give each other re; the level of supposed ‘reckless’ activity to getting things done - As if we gotta have strife in the script at every chance and turn. - Who has got the remote? - Opie ain’t usin one. Booom. Meth Lab is toast. Opie is thrown to the ground. Derisive scolding looks and tisk tisk-ing bounce back and forth among the boys.
Patrón Piney is in the saddle, makes like the old days and takes the reins, gets ‘er done. Tig was rescued in short order. No one got hurt. Mission accomplished. But that ain’t good enuff for Mopie Opie. he’s gotta chide. And scold. “Oh YOU have the death wish, Jax! I know you are but what am I!?” That rescue was risky and someone coulda stubbed a toe or got a hangnail. Sheesh. Did they all spontaneously turn Amish? Is Charming in Utah?! Heyall. I would be celebrating with the boys after bombing a house or flattening a motel while pullin a chatterbox “bro” away from his captors while he’s writing out a Hallmark “I’ll Miss You All” card for their benefit.
There were a few other of those “now you fellow bikers, don’t you DARE go doing anything Gemma would wag her finger at, oh look now ya gone an’ done it!” kinda scenes. But I forgot. Blame it on the dementia.
Sure, it ain’t a drama if there ain’t no “drama”. That’s why we watch escapist TeeVee. Cuz everyday life mostly has no entertaining strife conflict and drama. But still yet, thinkin about the characters in the show, it’s almost as if it is comprised of a buncha stevedores wrangled from the various docks and all they wanna do is involve themselves in pissing contests. Like it ain’t one cohesive charter, and at least not the original charter. From the glimmer I get. all members of one MC are like minded. and as pointed out, they sure as s#!t don’t lie to each other alla time. and scold or be scolded for goin renegade, wild, “reckless” resulting in mission accomplished? hmmmm… Oh. I get it. No one has anything above standard Health Insurance coverage!
Love Unser’s major lines in this ep. he’s a character to keep. (Cuz they sure as s#!t ai’t dropping him.) When he retires fro the force, it will be interesting to see the role they drop on him, the angle he will have as someone who ostensibly rides hazard for da boys. (I don’t see his greedy nature at all. Unless I got a beer the moment in an ep where they showed him demanding a raise from his higher ups… And as for hypocrite, well that’s a kinda label Angels and Quakers call the rest of humanity. Who ain’t perfect. at all. Maybe hypocrite is a term for someone who lives in a gray-ish part of the law… But I can’t call Wayne that.)
By Primo Kimo on September 30th, 2009 at 3:11 amSagal is a dynamite actress. The gun pointing scene at that loud honky wanting a parking space… did ya see her dead shark eyes she gazed out from, the expression fully conveyed all the crap that happened to her is what is filling her moment now and who gives a rats azz about some disturbing the peace complaint.. (especially from some frikkin haole who WAS disturbing the peace.)
clarification: “kinda label Angels and Quakers call the rest of humanity.” I meant angels on clouds with harps… and Quakers, doncha know.
By Primo Kimo on September 30th, 2009 at 3:15 amSo if Tig did not have the HMO he would not have left the hospital, ol girl would not have called the bounty hunters, and Tig would not have be taken, then no truck scene leading to tention between P VP and Opie. Maybe alittle political, but **** there was also a plot line to it. Yes got it, plot line could have been made another way. Get over it “I am not watching anymore” sounds like a bunch of women in a hair shop bitching about their men! Really I promise it is just a TV show, don’t take things in life so serious, you will never get out alive. Why doesn’t SOA go after LOAN for Gemma, because then there wouldn’t be a plot this season. Me I like the show. And when is Prospect gonna Patch? And how come you see hang arounds in the background but no new prospects? Bring a hangaround or two into the show Patch half sack, and Prospect the others, it would be fun to see SOA’s traditions. Also when is the story of VP’s real dad’s death going to fully come out. Got it I can read between the lines, but let Jax find out, that could be awesome after Clay just told him he would kill him. And is Otto ever going to get out? Also why the gay little fairing on the Dyna’s cause in a club they are brothers the develope like minds, if one gets a fairing a few more will. My first blog this was fun. I hope after next weeks show more of you write silly stuff so I can blog again.
By A.L.F. on September 30th, 2009 at 6:27 amCan someone fill my in? Who’s coming from Ireland? IRA dude on the lamd? Is there a SAMCRO chapter in Ireland?
By Zeppi on September 30th, 2009 at 7:10 amwhats gonna happen when tig really finds out Clay was gonna leave him to deliver the guns. will his loyalty start to shift to jax.
By S.A>R on September 30th, 2009 at 7:22 amI think the show is amazing! Yeah there are little flaws but easily overlooked. I have been a religious watcher since the first episode. I would like to see some more of the background of the club.
However I have one question who are the other eleven members pictured on SAMCRO’s wall.
By chussell on September 30th, 2009 at 7:44 amGreat Show until you guys started playing MORE COMERCIALS THAN EVER!!!
By Bikerfan on September 30th, 2009 at 8:12 amTen minutes of the show and then a whole lot of commercials and so on.
Last night Episode wasn’t as good. Who is helping you guys with that BS idea about a Health Care moment in the life of a MC club member. That was awful!
I missed last season and caught some of the replays during the summer so i am a little lost of some things. Can someone tell me why SAM tried to Kill OPIE and ended up killing his wife?
Thanks
By Scotty on September 30th, 2009 at 8:26 amThanks for puttin Tacoma on the map
By Rob on September 30th, 2009 at 8:45 amOK Love the show . .
By taker31 on September 30th, 2009 at 9:17 amQuestions:
Was the blonde in the card that Gemma pointed the gun at the girl from the van and the doll?
Clay is a original member, BUT not one of the founders? Kinda confused. Pine and John are the founders?
I am worried for Unser…famous last words…”i won’t let anything happen to you” I agree blaze of glory for him. I vote let half-sack in. Tig gets the most mileage for the least lines.
As an avid rider, we love the show! We were a little disappointed in Gemma’s role last night… Come on Gemma we all know you can kick some butt when you need to, get it done girl:)
Additionally, we realize that this show runs off of sponsership, but it would be nice if the number of commercials were cut down a bit. We counted 41 commerical last night with some being played 4 at a time. That really did take away from the show.
By Honey Bear on September 30th, 2009 at 9:26 amI thought this weeks episode was damn good, and I agree with zeppi’s question I did not understand who was coming from ireland?? Clay dropping his bike was hillarious,he needs to drop his attitude he and opie seem to be pushing Jax toward a confrontation. My question is why has Opie seemingly turned against Jax,who has helped Opie from the start, even covered for Opie when he fuc*** up the hit from season one??But Clay threating Jax at the end tells me by the last episode of this season there will be a fight.I kinda like Bobbys plan put them in a room and let them settle it one on one. Cant wait till next week!!!
By Lakota on September 30th, 2009 at 9:36 amI never thought about what Tig would do or say if he found out that his beloved Pres. was gonna leave him to deliver the guns and then comeback. He did tell Clay that it was a good move to get him because the hotel was a pit stop.
Samcro tried to kill Opie but got Donna by mistake because they thought he had ratted on Bobby for the hit on Hefner.
By pacspoon on September 30th, 2009 at 10:23 amScotty:
By Miss Miller on September 30th, 2009 at 10:48 amLast season Opie was set up by ATF to look like a rat and Clay fell for it. He had Tig try to kill Opie and he killed his wife by mistake. Hale knew that Op was set up and told Unser, but it was too late. Jax figured out what really happened and hasn’t told Opie (to maintain order in the club) and Opie is still trying to prove loyalty to the club so he’ll continue to side with Clay until the truth comes out. Hope it’s soon!!!!
I loved season one of SOA, I have not been so impressed with this season. I keep watching hoping that something will happen to catch my interest but “not so much”. I hope it gets better somewhere along this story line.
By Mrs Kautz on September 30th, 2009 at 11:51 amStill around, still watching. Great filler ep last night. Hale is playing the coward card, hoping SAMCRO and the League will just take each other out? Bad idea. Hope he realizes that before it’s too late.
Was wondering if Otto was going to be safe in jail…thanks for answering that question.
By Gynocrat on September 30th, 2009 at 12:48 pmDid anyone notice that Opie is up Clay’s ass? Opie said that Jax just needs to clear up his daddy issues and that “Clay’s not going anywhere”. What’s that about? I’m kind of upset with Opie.
I freakin love Piney…that crazy old man driving trucks into motel rooms and drinking a bottle of Patron with a straw. Gotta love him!
Talk at you next week!
By Steph on September 30th, 2009 at 1:35 pmDoes anyone know what they were talking about with the Irish, someone coming for a visit? It was when they were packing the guns in the military store. I am so confused??????
By Connie on September 30th, 2009 at 1:55 pmYeah, I think you saw how the club will split if it comes to that…Tig will go with Clay and I think Bobbie will go with Jax…although Tig might go where the wind is blowing and follow Jax.
Not sure how long Piney will keep the secret and TCB.
As for Happy - last season there was a scene where he was being tatted after a kill and I noticed or what I thought I noticed as a Filthy Few Tat on his adbomen…that would make him the real deal if it was a true tattoo…and he is listed as a Technial Adviser…who better than a member of the HAs
By Hawkeye on September 30th, 2009 at 4:24 pmwhere do they film the show at?
By cyclonefan on September 30th, 2009 at 5:51 pmi just dont buy the thing between jax and tara…she doesnt fit the part at all to me and it makes it hard to get into that part of the show…adriana was better for the part of his old lady, i would rather watch her on the show and get rid of tara
By #1jaxfan on September 30th, 2009 at 6:01 pmoh ya …and none of that HMO crap was for real.come on now,how many bikers have an hmo(retorical) and what town do you have to go to where you can blow through a motel room with your truck and no one calls the cops? dont get me wrong I LOVE THIS SHOW but some of this is too silly!
By #1jaxfan on September 30th, 2009 at 6:11 pmmy husband thinks opie will try to kill jax for clay
By #1jaxfan on September 30th, 2009 at 6:12 pmI thought Tuesday episode was bit on the commical side. The HMO slam….oh snap! I think there will be some career issues with Tara and the hospital. Last night episode, where the Nurse paged Tara and there was some Admin lady saying…”you seem to have alot of visitors lately, on both sides of the law.” Something could come out of SAMCRO and Tara career as a Doctor. This could possibly be an intro for things to come in future episodes.
By Chrissy on September 30th, 2009 at 9:59 pmI love watching this show. Hard to imagine them getting away with some of those things, but they do because it is TV and if they were all inside, we wouldn’t have much of a show.
By Gunny on October 1st, 2009 at 1:54 amI loved it when Bobbie puked on that dude! Also, when they went in and handled business afterward.
Can’t wait to see what happens next!
Hopefully, Sack will get patched soon and I agree… a few more prospects would seem realistic. Sack is really treated well for being a prospect, talks a bit much too!
I’ve been reading all the posts about Hale, there seems to be a lot of dif. takes on him. For me Hale represents “Joe average American” who has bought into the Black and white view of the world only to end up struggling with the fact that there is a whole lot of grey out there. Zobelle and the ATF could easily represent the Different factions of the establishment both using Hale’s inner conflict to push their own agenda. (sound familiar?) Then we have the Sons, Representing the ultimate Grey area. Although they live outside of the accepted norms they do provide protection and security for the town of charming.( ultimate statement about all politics being at there best when local)
By Bret on October 1st, 2009 at 8:40 amAs far as the Health care statement the other night…..Well it is Cali. so I guess they can’t help it.
I wanted to respond to this post:
Can’t believe that Clay threaten Jax. Omg. Jax is a hottie on this show but did anyone ever see him on Queer as Folk? Couldn’t even believe it was the same guy. Gemma stay strong and shoot that guy if you want.

LoveSOA,
By Mary on October 1st, 2009 at 9:26 amYou do know that Charlie Hunnam (Jax) was on the British Queer as Folk, not the American version? Just want to make sure you don’t confuse sexy, hot Charlie with that ugly kid on the American version.

Bret, hit the nail on the head. SOA poses many questions in the thinking viewer’s head; Is their microcosm, their own moral/societal codes and mores… no more nor less valid than the larger corrupt government they live within?
By Primo Kimo on October 1st, 2009 at 9:34 amOpie is supporting Clay for a couple of reasons:
1. He doesn’t know Clay tried to kill him and ended up killing Donna.
2. He feels like all he has left now in the MC and he doesn’t want to mess that up. If you remember, last year Clay didn’t trust that Opie was 100% back in the club after getting out of jail b/c Donna kept pulling him away. Opie wants to leave no doubt that he is 100% back in SOA now. How do you do that? Support your Pres.
I have 3 words for the guy who said he will never watch FX again b/c of a minor incident calling out HMO’s - “Lighten up, Francis.” HMO’s have been called out in movies and TV shows for years. If they had said Tig doesn’t have insurance b/c there is no public health care option, I can see that as a political statement, but this wasn’t any big deal.
Gemma will get her swagger back, but it can’t happen too soon. It’s called a story line. If they wrapped up all the story lines the following week the season would only last 3 episodes. Relax and enjoy the ride. Also, did you really think she was gonna shoot Henry Rollins last night? He is a key character this year. He will likely die by the end of the season, but not in episode 4 and not by being unknowingly shot in the back.
Agree about the Irish. It is hard to understand their accent. I had to rewatch that scene about 5 times last night to get the gist of it. Seems some leaders of the IRA are coming to the U.S. for some reason and that Chibs has some history with at least one of them. I’m sure we’ll find out in coming episodes.
I love Happy. Hope he continues to be integrated into the show. From what I can tell, he is in a different SOA chapter but in town b/c his mom is sick or something. Dude just looks hard core. I understand he is a technical advisor b/c he is, or was, in an MC in real life.
By Free on October 1st, 2009 at 11:56 amCome on, someone tell Clay or Jax what happened to Gemma, I wanna see wnna see some good ass whipping !!!
By Tommy on October 1st, 2009 at 6:35 pmI get around the commercials by recording the show and then ffwd through them. I know it’s hard to wait to watch the episode but so much more gratifying/less annoying, when I do!
My husband and I are avid riders, however, not members of a MC. Bikers do have that familial quality with each other and I can see how being a member is desireable. We love the show and the characters! Great entertainment.
By Suzyleigh on October 2nd, 2009 at 6:22 amscotty… if i remember correctly, the dea or fbi made it look like opie ratted out the club so clay told tig to kill him. although clay learns opie didnt rat, its too late to stop tig cuz he isnt answering his cell phone…tig rolls up on what he thinks is opie in his truck and opens fire from behind, only to learn as he passes the truck that it isn’t opie inside, its opies wife and she is dead now! of course jax knows the truth now but is still hiding the truth from opie.hope that helps you!
By #1jaxfan on October 2nd, 2009 at 9:32 amJust some things I have noticed in the last few episodes.
Opie: I believe he is trying to recreate his lost family by pulling the club back together. He won’t have anything to do with his own children. He thinks he is smoothing over troubles but has no idea what is the true cause of the issues
HMO: The cover for SAMCRO is the Teller-Murrow garage. Why wouldn’t the club have insurance? It is part of the way they cover their activities.
Otto: Please someone fill me in.
Tara: She needs to go. It’s great to have a standby doc but… she needs to jump in or out.
Tig: That slug needs to die. I can’t believe any real MC would tolerate his raping and weird sexual preferences. I think he did overhear Gemma and Unser, and recognized his own behavior.
Hale: He’s a clean cut, the-law-is-gospel kinda guy and he’s growing up emotionally. I like his character, and the moral struggles.
Jax: I don’t like his slacker appearance, and I think he is the same character as Hale - just opposite sides.
Can’t wait to see what comes in the future. I think it would awesome if Tara earned her stripes taking out the guys that raped Gemma. I’d like to see Prospect do something more with the motorcyles. It IS an MC.
By Raven on October 2nd, 2009 at 4:55 pmi think the tara character is definately not working!!! shes just completely lifeless and dull! i think someone as hawt as Jax needs someone with at least some facial expressions!!! that actress that plays tara needs to go back to mad men!! please get a new love interest for jax, someone with a little fire to them!
By dannie on October 3rd, 2009 at 6:13 pmso whats gemma gonna do when she finds out clay threatened her son. she won’t take that quietly.
